Hi,

I took the MSF course a few weeks ago and got my first bike. I decided on a Ninja 250 because it is so
easy to ride (light, small, not intimidating). I am having a blast with it so far!

Welcome to the site SBW!

Good choice in bikes. It's good to pick something you can manage easily.

Hope you have a blast.

Welcome!

Welcome to the site! As you can see from my bio at left I also have a baby Ninja. And I just looooove the little green thing! I'm old enough now to not need the latest, most powerful, bike to prove my manhood. I just pass those youngsters on the inside... but they get their revenge when the road straightens out!

You have chosen one of the most misunderstood bikes ever made. Most people dismiss it because "It is only a 250." yet above 7,000 rpm that little engine has surprising power. By the way, if you ever get into a curve too fast and scare yourself???.... trust your tires and lean it some more. The bike and stock tires can handle it.

Oh yeah, for the dudes/dudettes who bought the latest high powered bike? I'm NOT knocking ya!!! Just saying that I am the one who's perspective has changed.
