I am new to the form and a somewhat new rider. My former bikes were a 73 cb 750k and a 76 cb750f . Stock those bikes had about 54hp but with all the mods I came out to 93hp. I have just picked up a 94 cb1000 and I am more or less learning to ride all over again. This is my first "new style bike" and riding is like night and day.

I do have a question for the Houston riders. I have a list modification I want to make to my bike. I am wondering who in Houston does good work? In the beginning, I'll be making minor changes (low budget stuff), but if I like this bike like I did my last, radical changes will follow.
In my mind, tuning is everything. How can I judge where I want to go if I don't know where I am ? Also where is a good local dyno?

Welcome --

Enjoy the site. As far as the local stuff, there are a bunch of riders from there, so you should find some kind of answer.
