Hello all!

Hello, just bought a 2002 CBR 600 f4i, and I love it, just wanted to say hi.

My bike already died, I hope this isn't a precursor of things to come, the bike has 35k but maintenced really well.

I think it is the battery because the bike was sitting for quite some time.

when i turn it on the clock always resets and instead of a odometer i get two huge "- -" instead!!! I have no clue what the problem is, I just bought it today!

Congrats and welcome

Does sound like a dead battery.

Yep, sounds like a battery to me too. Not likely to be anything serious. Even with 35K on the odometer, it would be unusual for a bike to have a major problem, especially a Honda.
