h no not another new guy! Ma.

Hey guys, whats happening, Im Tom.

I just joined a few days ago and I love the forum. Im more of a lurker but I thought I would at least introduce myself.

I have been riding for years, but I have been out of the scene for a for a few years. I have owned a few dirt bikes. I have had two street bikes aswell.

I owned a 1997 CBR 600F3. I was running Yoshi R&D exhaust, K&N filter and jetted of course. I also bumped the rear sproket up 2 teeth. I sold it due to a mechanical problem, The front tire would not stay ont he ground.

The second street bike was a 98 Ninja ZX6R, This was jetted, K&N filter and full Muzzy SS exhaust. full polished frame. I loved that bike but I was forced to sell it. Its been a few years about 4 years with no bike. The newest one just fell into my lap. Its a 99 Superhawk 996, and as I have read here its referred to as the chickenhawk. Its running with mods, V&H SSR pipes. filter, jets, Fox rear suspension, etc. Its got some miles but its runs great. This winter I will have to replace the waterpump seal, I am starting to get a small amount of weeping on the front of the block. At this point its not much of a problem and I don't have much of a riding season left here is New England. Over the winter I will be doing some more work to this beast. Over the winter I will be changing the exhaust out for some high mounted exhaust, maybe Jardine. I want something high, but keep the rear peg set. I am ordering an under tail kit from rumble imports, thats sexy. I have loved the look and sound of super hawk for a long time. OOOOOhh that V-twin sound and torque is amazing!

The funny part is I was looking for a cruiser. I was think of a Yamaha warrior 1700. I guess next year Ill get that one and have the two of them.

Well if you read this far, thanks, good meeting you guys, and lets keep it shiny side up-
