Rebuilding a CBR600

I need some advice. I am looking at a 2000 CBR600F4i with 15000 miles. It has been wrecked and there is no plastic except the headlamp assembly is intact and the headlights work (the guages are also fine). The frame and everything is fine so most of the damage is cosmetic. Would I be able to put mirrors, turn signels and a break light on and register it as a salvage title? What is required to pass an HP 106 inspection. Thanks? One last thing, is 2000 a fair price? Thanks for any help. Check out the picture too.

First things first...you'll need to check with your states DMV re: registering it as a salvaged title..as states vary on the requirments.

2000.00 for a wrecked 2000 f4i seems ummm, kinda High to me..I know people that sell 05 600 gixxers for 3500.00 Sooooo...I'd say 1200.00 - 1400.00 would be more in line...considering after you buy all the needed parts, of which plastics are gonna prolly be the most expensive.

After it's all said and done...the bike isn't worth much more that 2800.00 tops, remember, it's 6 years old ...

Best of luck...

Old, Slow, but ...Smooth
