new bike feels weird

Not sure where to post this hope someone will help out this FNG. I rode a 96'CBR900RR for about three years. It has been about 2 years since i rode and i just got an new 05' gsxr 750 yesterday

Here's the deal It seems to me there is alot vibration in the handlebars. Now i say alot and there is no measurable way for me to put it so that you guys can understand but it seems like alot or at least more then i remember on the RR.

DO new bikes vibrate more then ones that are already broken in? Are suzuki's known for more vibration in the handles then other brands? My RR also didnt rev as quickly as this bike, could this be the sensation I'm experiencing? Just looking to pick some brains before i go to the dealship and I have them charge me a $#!^ load and it be nothing.

Thx

Sorry, can't help you, but I thought I'd just say, "Welcome to SBW!"

Hang around. There's soooo many people on here who have a vast knowledge of all things bike.

The vibes sound normal. The only way to make sure is to ride someone else's 750. But with modern high revving, super light bike, vibes are just part of the game. Older models used to rubber mount everything they could, where as newer use the engine as a stress member of the frame. There isnt much of anything stopping the vibes.
As for revving faster than a 900RR, well it damn well better! Its a lighter engine, with a much lighter flywheel. Its not a bad thing.. its zingy!
