New to bikes

Well this is my little intro...

Im from Fargo, ND ( actually 30miles out in the boonies ) I was originaly a car guy, but I rode a sport bike for the first time a couple weeks ago, and got hooked. I traded off my 2005 Polaris Predator 2 days ago for my 2003 Suzuki SV1000 ( my first bike! ), and let me tell you... its been a great 2 days.

I dont mind the bike one bit even though its a 2cyl bike. And another year down the road I plan to get something much better like a GSXR 1000 or an R1, but until then ill slightly modify this bike and enjoy riding it until winter hits.

Any help with parts for my bike would be much apreciated. Im looking for a rear fender delete kit that looks good, and has a place for mounting the plate. Also some replacement mirrors, exhaust, and an alternative to the front blinkers... ones that dont stick out so far. Oh and does anyone know if they make a single exhaust for the 1000? or is it dual only?

Thanks!

Welcome Flowcus

Here is a site. The hot bodies kit eliminates the fender & turnsignals, the comp werkes eliminates the fender, but not the signals.

I just bought my 03 sv1000 as a leftover last month I have about 1000miles on it now I love the bike it may be a 2cyl v-twin but its still got 110 hp and 70lbft of torque I had a 03 sv650 before and that was plenty on the street. The sv1000 is about as fast as a 600 supersport but you don't have to have it wound out all the time you can ride the torque and not have to rev the snot out of it. Try www.svrider.com for info on your bike they do make a single exhaust and its about the same price as bolt ons I know yosimura and M-4 make single full systems. There are a few diff fender eliminators I made my own well I made it for my 650 but repoed it before the insurance company got it.
