Hello I'm new.

Hi, just resigtered a few days ago I don't have a bike yet....I sold my Grand Sport Corvette so I can start saving for one I hope to get one next year sometime and begin the learning curve. I have no riding experiance but do plan on taking a local riding class and starting out on an 03' Suzuki SV650S. I would eventually like to move up and ride GSXR's but the mor eI read the more I see that I'm going to kill myself if I start with that bike. Any tips and comments are appreciated thanks.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Welcome to the site and also to the addiction of riding!

The 650S is a good choice - neighbor has one and loves it. Seems like a balance of sportbike appearance, but non-suicidal engine for beginners (although I've not ridden one personally).

How do you start a post?

When starting out with riding just take it easy on which ever bike you go with. Just remember that you should always be in control of the bike not the other way around. I learned how to change grears from my 4 wheeler. Then I got a 250 to learn how to turn. Then I took the course and got a 750. I got screwed on a finance deal so this year I jumped up to a 1K to get a beeter finace deal. So this is my 3rd bike in three years and never had a bad accident yet (knock on wood). Just take your time and ride within your limit and you will be fine.
I'm new to this site and was wondering how do you start a post? I've only replied to post but don't know how to start one. Thanks for your time.

Click on the forum you want the thread in and there should be a button near the top right for starting a new thread. Or at the top and bottom of each thread there are "New Thread" buttons as well.
