The language is simply an indication of age. I've gotten used to seeing it on auto enthusiast forums, and you either ignore it or struggle though it (at least us older folk do, I think). I could go on and on about why this exists, but who really cares?

Anyway, as for doing research, the best starting place, since you're already signed up, is HERE! Work that Search button like its a $5 whore on... oh sorry. You get my point. Additionally, check out LOTS of threads that run in the New Members and New Riders forums, including ones that aren't recent (you can change the date range for which threads are shown by using buttons at the bottom of each forums' page).

Now, when you want to research something specific, use good 'ol Google! If you have some trouble finding out something specific, post up what you know and what you want to know about the subject, and we'll happily chime in.

HTH, and thanks for asking

There is tons of good advice right here on the board. Like everybody else will tell you, if you are new to riding and you are going to jump right into a new 600 then the MSF course would be a great idea.

So what kind of 600 are you looking for. I took delivery on my new gixxer 600 not too long ago and its more than i could've ever asked for. Such a sweet bike.

Good luck and happy riding.

There are a lot of specific website you can look at.

For Example if you looking at and R6. You could go here . Website is dedicated to R6's

But you are probably looking at an older sv650 ex500 or ninja 250 right? So I run those bikes though Google and see what you can come up with.
