Cool New member from Europe (NL)

Hi all out there,

I'm Eric from the Netherlands. I drive a red ZX-9R,
year: 1999.
Like to drive around in areas with a lot of
curves and hills like the German Eifel => great!

However, here in the Netherlands, everything is
flat, and most roads are straight

You'll just have to look around.

Hey dude,
Welcome to the group. I know what you mean about flat roads.
I live in South Florida and the roads here are mostly flat and
straight too. I'd love to take my bike to the canyons of the American Southwest and do some serious carving, but that would
be a exstreamly long trip to make for me. Anyway that's a nice
bike you have. Randy

If I recall, the road from Haarlem to Zandvort has some nice curves. Some nice roads around Huizen and Hilversum too. Been almost a year since I was out that way. Used to travel there on business all the time.

It is always nice to hear about great roads. Although it's strange somebody overseas has to point me to a road within an hours drive from my house

But it's great to hear about this. Looks like citizen from bikerland are always helpful. What a marvelous 'country'.

The only problem here is the speed cams...

Thanks,
Eric

Bastards will track you down too. I got caught by a camera on the A10 in a rental car and three months later a bill arrives at my house in NH, USA. They had already charged my credit card.

Yeah,
Nice guys here

They will always find you! A lot of speed cams in the country!
First the A10 then other speedways around Amsterdam (worked there for approx. 6 years).

Now you can find them even in 'nice' rural areas, perhaps you get a picture with a windmill in the background

I had a ticket from Belgium, it took them almost 2 years to track me down: long forgotten, unpleasant surprise.

Even two weeks ago in Germany: A flash in front of me.
I was on my bike: pleasant surprise!

Cheers,
Eric
