Talking First sport bike!!!! Who knew they were this fun!?

Hey all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought the first bike I've owned since a Kwaki 100 dual sport when I was 12 years old. My god.....the difference

Im from mid missouri, and I don't currently know anyone that rides. Its somthing I've wanted for a few years, but just got the chance to get. My bike is a 1997 Yamaha YZF600R, its got 4500 miles on it. Everything on the bike is stock, except the front turn signals. But function wise, its bone stock.

Im totally new to the whole motorcycle world, especially the sportbike part. The first day I rode, I didnt stop for 100 miles, the next day 80 miles

Well, I will stop rambling on. I hope you experienced people can lead my in the right direction when the questions start coming.

Later,
Sheridan

Ain't it great?

Welcome to sportbiking. After some saddle time, you'll be wanting to take a track school, then track days, then it's all downhill from there :-)
