Wussup?!

Wussup?!

I'm Kano(Kay-know) outta the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Yeah, I'm a brand new rider...I had actually NEVER even been on a bike before last weekend when I completed my safety course and got my Cycle Endorsement added to my Class A CDL. I've been wanting a bike forever but was just too lazy to go take the class and whatnot. I'm kind of lazy like that sometimes....a 'late bloomer' on a lot of stuff in life. I should have gone and got my Cycle Endorsement years ago!

Anyways, I picked up a '06 ZX6R 636 Ninja with only about 8,500 miles on it at a local bike shop(Simply Street Bikes or SSB)in Eden Prairie. I imagine part of the reason it was so cheap was because nearly every fairing on the bike needs to be replaced. Theres no signs of it being necessarily dumped in motion as the sliders and everything UNDER the plastic fairings seem to be ok but both fairings on either side are cracked with no scrape marks. Even the front week cover is scratched which makes me wonder about the previous owner...WHERE the hell was he storing it and WHAT the hell was he doing with the bike, riding in the woods through the forest or what?! So now I'm debating wether I should replace them or not. For visual cosmetic purposes the obvious answer I know is YES.

I originally was looking at a black 2011 Suzuki GSX-R750. It was definitely a SWEET BIKE with far less cosmetic damage but the payments and insurance was going significantly higher. Oh well, I figure I can ride this one for awhile then maybe upgrade in a few years or so because I REALLY like the GSX-R750 models!

Anyways, If its NOT raining, I'm riding my bike to work nearly everyday and on weekends and between my 2014 brand new car I leased last year and my used bike...I'd sell my car before I sold that bike! I just LOVE RIDING!

Have A Great Weekend and BE SAFE OUT THERE!

When it rains we like to ride our dirt bikes ~ always keeps the dust down when the trails are wet . . .

Right On! ✌️

So check it out...a few weeks ago I purchased my very FIRST used bike...a 2006 Kawi ZX6 636 Ninja that was more or less a piece of s**t. The bike had previously been dumped MORE than a few times and so I figured I'd replace all the plastic fairings and whatnot. Little did I know at the time that it was going to result in me dumping another $1K into the bike. It's a fun bike to ride but it really WASN'T the original bike I REALLY WANTED. That and I was being a financial puss about it. The more I rode it, the more I kind of didn't like it because of all the cosmetic damage and whatnot. So as of last night I upgraded to the bike I originally wanted and I went from this...

to this...

which is pretty much TWICE the BIKE and then some compared to the Ninja!
