Question

I was thinkig of buying a bike in about a month and a half. I am only going to be able to ride the bike over the summer (becasue of the weather). I heard that you can insure a bike just for the summer. I think a summer policy would make sense. Is this true?

Thanks

Most places offer a 9-month policy. I think it excludes Dec, Jan, and Feb. (someone correct me if Iím wrong). I did the year due to the fact it wasnít much cheaper ($30) and on occasion ride during the Indian summers.

I was told they will insure the bike as an RV. That kind of ins. is supposed to be cheaper.
I don't really know myself. If you look to the left you will see that I am located in AZ. Winter does not exist here .

6-month

It's probably a six-month term meaning you renew every six months and get re-rated each time
