So has anyone seen the movie Driven? Sylvester Stallone's lastest "movie". It was not that good. But they did wear a lot of Arai helmets.I noticed that right away. And the race footage was pretty good as were some of the effects. Overall, it sucked and MIGHT be worth renting if you have seen all the other movies at blockbuster. So, if you had thoughts of doing it, don't waste your time.

Hey Robert, maybe I need a new forum to moderate. Movies! I could do all types, not just the ones in the theater. I have a collection of porn that I would be happy to post reviews on!

Just trying to help.
Think that would make the motorcycle magazine we were mentoned in?
And on page 11 of American Motorcyclist, funksouljon from www.sportbikeworld.com gave "Free Willy for all the Ladies" a 4 on the Chub-O-Meter. He states that "the acting was adequate, but the girls could have looked better. The lighting was overdone and they need to keep the neighbors quite when they are making a production."

At least with porn movies, the first 2 minutes is all you will need to review. That is as far as they have ever gotten right?

Thumbs up

Im glad you said that, I was gonna maybe go see Driven today since its raining

I saw the Mummy II and it was really good. I didnt really care for the first one, but my wife wanted to see the second anyway so we did. ALOT more action than the first and the the special effects are pretty cool.

Anything with Stallone in it usually is a POS!

That guy is the biggest hypocrite in Hollywood today. All that steriod & cocaine must have fried one too many braincells in his flat head.

I like the Mummy Returns.

I thought that Driven might suck. Friggin' Hollywood, again. I hope the writers do go on strike, it would spare us another season of shit.

I agree with RougeBiker that most things Sly puts out suck. He is definitely overrated.

If you are looking for a pretty cool racing flick, check out the movie Grand Prix. It has some pretty intense footage of GP racing from back in the day. Acting not too bad either.

Has anybody seen "O Brother Where Art Thou" or "Enemy at the Gates"?

You know what though, I saw a few previews this weekend that looked interesting. Jurassic Park 3 looked good. Sam Neil comes back and reprises his role. Also, a neat looking CGI movie called Final Fantasy looks really interesting. It's a Sci-Fi that uses motion capture and CGI....it looked pretty good anyway. No big stars providing their voices. Another one that looks interesting is some movie about street racing in LA. I can't remember the title now but the preview showed a bunch of neat looking rice burners(Eclipse, RX7, etc., sportbikes, and a souped up '69 Dodge Charger. Okay, ok. Another Hollywood BS movie like Gone in 60 Seconds you say. But it doesn't have any big name stars so that's usually a GOOD sign. At least Stallone isn't in it!

Well, there is an exception to that one. Ever seen Cop Land? That was cool. Stallone actually plays a goofy half-deaf cop. His part there isn't big and he had to share his role with some big names as well. You know...actors that can REALLY act. Like Ray Liota, Harvey Keitel, & Robert DeNiro. Plus, I don't think it was a big budget film so there wasn't much publicity done. It's a good movie. It won't BS you. I'd give it 2 thumbs up.

No. The last one sounds interesting though. What's it about?

Rouge.
Ray Liota, great actor. Most of the stuff he does is really good.
The movie you are talking about with the rice burners racing is "The Fast and the Furious". Looks like it might be okay, but I want to see all the racing and cars shots. www.thefastandthefurious.com is the site, but it doesn't have that much on it. The biggest actor in the movie as far as I can tell is Vin Diesel. He was also in "Boiler Room" I liked it. He also starred in "Pitch Black". I had low expectations for it but was suprised. I thought is was pretty good scary movie. Not that I was scared but...
I too liked "Cop Land." I thought he did a good job and it was interesting to see him play a part that was not his sterotypical part.

"Race For Glory" need I say more?
