Creationism - Evolution

Watching too much Discovery Channel stuff lately. But the talk of extinction caught my ear, and a comment that "all creatures become extinct." The explanation was that they die off, or evolve into something more successful.

But then there is the discussion of creationism and beings are created in the state they were intended (this is a good one for the chicken and the egg argument).

Now it's got me thinking if we were supposed to evolve from the ape, or ape like creature, why do apes still exist? And when do we evolve? I want to stop paying taxes already

Taxes and dying off. "The only two certainties." Irony you put them into the same stream-of-conscious?

I'm trying to figure out how to make money when the debt ceiling isn't raised. When certain lawmakers won't actually negotiate, that likelihood rises dramatically so that leaves investors with a simple question: How can I profit from this? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
