AND do not break a leg you lucky son of a gun.

I was lucky in that most of the places I lived were loaded with the best of the ski slopes only minutes to half hour away.

Hiya, everyone! Got back from the snow on Saturday. Had a great time, but I've been sick as a dog for most of the week!

I've got the 'flu, big time. Sooooooo many people down here have been struck down with different strains of it this year, with almost 10 deaths from Influenza 'A'. Mine's not nearly as bad, but I've got a few days off work to try to get over it.

I didn't let it stop me skiing, but I just died every afternoon when we got back to the lodge.

Anyway, no broken bones, just a sore nose from blowing it every five minutes. Actually, I did come close to breaking a leg. Went through some trees, only to discover a hidden stream. My ski dug into the side of the hole about a foot!!! And here's a picture...

Hope everyone's been safe while I was away. Look forward to slotting back into my rhythm over the next couple of days.

Catchya!

WARNING
If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler

We start dry land traning this time of year getting ready for ski season. The whole northern and southern hemisphere thing blows Nice find on the hidden stream, yikes. Area I live at hired snowmakers from New Zeland last year. They were great guys. Really likes being out in the cold all night, strange. Let's see those pics.

Is it hot in here?

Actually, if you've got the money, the northern / southern thing can be awesome; Ski down here, ski up there, ski down here, ski up there... Actually, my dream would be to water-ski for six months of the year and snow ski the other six.

A lot of the snow on our lower slopes is man-made. The place I went to has a bucketload of snow blowers all over the lower slopes. Any night the temp's right, they go to town and cover the place in fresh snow.

Didn't get a chance to hit the computer at home last night. Will try again tonight.
