I know very little about computers So here's my question; my computer here at work is on a server. Is my internet activity history on the server or when I clear my history is it gone? You know, passwords, acct. numbers... photo section of sportbike world. Humm?
Though it is hard to say for certain because you give no details, Vash is right. If you are using Windows (Win2k, XP Pro, etc.) and are logged into a domain at work, then at the very least, your domain password is stored on the server.
For everything else, it depends on how they have set things up. The default location for browser history, site passwords, etc. is the local machine. But the group policy editor can be used to move any or all of that to a different location, including a remote one. Everything on the local machine may also be copied to a remote location for backup purposes.
Basically, don't do anything at work that you wouldn't want your mother to know about. Or that you wouldn't want to read about in the paper.
