Yeah, it didn't seem to go as fast as I expected, either.
We've got a racing category over here, called the Australian Superkart Championship. They use 250cc engines, with gearboxes, that lap Phillip Island within a couple of seconds of the MotoGP bikes and actually faster than 250cc GP bikes!!!
lol, he had to use a leaf blower to spin the turbine to the correct speed. I bet it would be a bit difficult to control since I'm guessing the power is in the thrust, not actually transferred to the wheels. I wouldn't think it could corner very easily.
I'm looking more towards the famous "gixxercart" go cart, but I want something more of an indy 500 frame.
Apparently the wolfpack motorsports club uses an f4i turboed 600 engine on a 500lb chassis.
