Pins out of wrist

Well I finally got the 4 pins out of my wrist. 2 weeks then the stitches are out. 1 to 2 years then the plate and screws come out.

I'm not too computer suavy or I would post the x-rays. I got a digital camera, guess I could try to take pics of the x-rays. From there I'm lost... Plug it into the computer, then what? Any pointers?

Funny - when they put in the IV a shot of blood got out and ran down my finger, so of course I smeared in down the center of my forhead. I watched as nurses saw it and ran over and asked the other nurses why it was there. After they found out I was just screwing around the said they didn't want to say anything in case it was some kind of religious bullshit. Got a good laugh out of that.

I'm just a white country boy, I won't behead you for insulting me...

Glad to hear you got the pins out.

As for your camera. There should be a disk with it that you install first. Just pop in the disk and click yes. After that, it's just a matter of plugging in the usb cord. I'm not sure about the x-rays. I guess if you held them up to a light, and took the pic it might come out.

there's hope in the words and emotion in the eyes
it's so easy to be misled by the savvy gentle guise
and like fools we trust the delivery
but it's all just drunk sincerity

Maybe a scanner? I dunno. Thats a tricky one. Uploading shouldn't be difficult. Just plug it in, and save'm. Glad to hear the pins are out. I like the "won't behead you" comment. nice and subtle haha.

First off I got a kick out of the blood on the forehead & fright of some religious thing ESPECIALLY at this time of you know who & their so called beliefs.

Still good to hear the pins are out, but you have more info on what comes on next then we Cdns to & more so in B.C., Cdn for you cannot take home you X-rays. Mind you I just saw one bone specialist in '56 & another few in '62 & later though many injuries major injuries from '47 till '89 & some of those injuries are comming to haunt & effect me at my age.

Compared to Alberta of where my GP Doctor read the complete report back from two specialists & in explaining what they meant by this or that sometimes he even had to go into his medical books to come out in in laymans words. Yet if it had not been for him and in so many ways I would still be suffering with epilepsy of major to small attacks. For in just three years as his patient Ep was a thing of the past that hit an all time high in '51 till '56 & docs telling me to take this or that yet not helping.

if u've got regular films then you might wanna hold it up to some white light and take a picture, i'm not sure scanning it will come out rlly well but well worth the try. alot of hospitals now are changing it up to digital films... I find it funny that the hospital I work for charges like 20 bucks to print copies of your films but it only costs 5 bucks to have the digital images burned into a cd for you.

glad to hear you're doin' good. and remember to request some lead shield for your crotch whenever they need to take x-rays man, keeps the family jewels from glowing/getting fried sometimes the techs get lazy and forget and you just need to remind them, i forget once in a while

I've riden a few times. The lack of movement in the wrist plus sand and gravel on the roads have kept me in check. With the pins out I should get most of the movement back. Back to the gym to gain the 25lbs I lost... I will try and find the cd and cord for me to plug in my camera and check on showing you guys the x-rays.
