My new ride :-)

Well, after driving 75 miles a day for the past 2 weeks in my 94 Pontiac van, I came to one conclusion: 24 MPG just wasn't cuttin' it. So I went searching for something REALLY good on gas. Couldn't find anything that got really good mileage at a reasonable price. The Prius was out of the question. 20 thousand? I don't think so. Only the Toyota Echo got good mileage...41MPG, but with gas as expensive as it is and the amount of miles I travel every day, I had to go HARD-CORE. It had to be easy to work on and C-H-E-A-P to own.
I have 84k on my current one (that my wife drives)and I think it's just starting to break in. I went with the stick and the smaller engine this time, for killer gas mileage. I only drive highway to and from work. This one has 88k on the clock, new exhaust, new tires, no rust, no dings or scratches, and doesn't smoke or burn oil. I did a carfax report and it was a single owner car from Arizona. The woman moved to New Hampshire and traded it in. Gonna pick her up on Saturday morning. I can't wait to see what kind of gas mileage I get. It's supposed to get 50+ on the highway. Here she is... I need a vanity plate that says: "JST1LTR" :-)

Well, if you ever run out of gas, you can carry it to the gas station!

The ugly of the car is offset by the mpg. Good choice IMO

WARNING
If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler

It's really an OK car. You can always bling bling it with spinners. :

<I never used "bling bling" until SBW >
