Can psychics really see the past/future?

I’m sure everyone has seen the signs for “$5 Psychic Readings” in their town or while traveling elsewhere. What I wanted to discuss here were your thoughts on using psychics for more than just personal entertainment, more specifically in police and detective work.

There’s been documented cases in the past where police haven’t been able to solve a crime, at which point they turn to a psychic for help.
What I find the most interesting is when the psychics they hire actually solve the case.

What are your thoughts on this? What about using psychics to help solve some of the current investigations (such as the Peterson or Hacking

I’m not an expert myself on the topic, but I’ve been learning a bit more from a new show on Court TV called Psychic Detectives. It’s on Wednesday’s at 9:30pm in case you want to watch it too.

I dunno..You could always try an experiment. I would try this....

You could sneek up on a Psychic, then when he or she is not looking take a swing at them. If they duck or turn around and catch your punch without seeing you then, yes. I guess they are psychic. If they dont... Then kick em in the nuts or in the shins to make sure they are not gonna catch you. Then yell "If you where a real psychic you would have seen it coming". Then of course run away before they get up and kick ur ass.......(pleae note Phatkidwit1eye does not support or advicate attacking psychic's for experimental purposes)

If you are really into this stuff you should listen to Coast to Coast am on the radio. They always talk about this stuff. Art Bell and George Noory roxors!

there's hope in the words and emotion in the eyes
it's so easy to be misled by the savvy gentle guise
and like fools we trust the delivery
but it's all just drunk sincerity

Using psychics to solve cases, or anything for that matter is not, and NEVER will be a legitimate form of crime solving. For crying out loud, this isn't "Minority Report". This is the crazy world we live in now where people sue McDonald's for getting fat by eating their food.

If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler
