Cool

Most of the time it is not serious and it is done in fun. When some of us meet up we will talk highly of each others bikes and riding ability. Then in the same sentence tell them that their Honda sucks and is a piece crab even when it is a 2000 RC51. So it is done in fun.

Question

i just recently joined this forum and i've noticed that for some odd reason alot of the squids on this forum like to bad-mouth everybody. people seem to knock down each others bikes, make fun of having common sense(wheelies, stoppies.....).

what gives, since being a new rider i have found that in the real world bikers are very cool....except harley..... never have i heard as much bad mouthing. there are different strokes for different strokes. there's a place in this world for all bikes from little 250ex to the mother of all bikes the 'busa...

just curious??

i also belong to a miata forum and it is nowhere near this hostile.

I wouldn't take it too seriously (I don't think anyone else does)...its all in good fun and you gotta expect the "My bike is better than your bike bs" from the die-hard owners

And even in the real-world this kinda ribbing goes on. You musta met an extremely nice group of guys...do they have a quilting bee?

It is all done in fun except for the Kawasaki guys... they are actually mean. Now I'm not saying anything about the bikes, just the owners.

No really it is pretty much all in fun. Most members don't actually dislike any of the makes/models, it is just varying degrees of like.

Now Spitfire will be obligated to make an anti-Honda remark. If he logs on without making one... his computer will lock up.

THERE'S the problem guys...

Just Kidding! Ease up Racer, its just good healthy testosterone (sp?) and pride.

Personally, I have never gotten upset on the forums for real.

Hey RACER X - Don't worry. Nobody will bash your VFR. Now if you had a Kan-A-Tuna it would be a different story.

I have to disagree with most of what has been said here; Spitfire, who has given Racer X the most grief, is the Devil's offspring. And 748_Abuser is his brother.

Just kidding, of course.

That is simple, all of the admins and moderators know everything.
