Hitting a bird that size at speed could *easily* do that kind of damage. It's amazing that the bike didn't go down and quite fortunate that it didn't hit the rider in the helmet.

i dunno about that pic im not to keen on how hard a owl is or how hard a bike fairng is, but i think that there would be a hole and a big splat or even some blood not trying to sound gross or anything. If it is fake why in the hell would you pick up a dead bird i hope that guy wasnt wearing his good riding gloves cause some smells just dont come out
