How does a ducati 750ss and a yzf600 compare?

I'm not comparing them to buy, I just bought a 2001 750 supersport and my friend has a 98 yzf 600. I was just wondering how they compare performance wise. Which one is faster, which one handles better, brakes.... and so on.

Also what is the best mod for a 750 super sport? Air filter, chip, exhaust???

Thanks

Jeremy

I always like to see things that have to do with my bike. 98 yzf 600. I'll be interested to hear the result. Allthough i didn't realize my bike was even in the same ballpark as the duc 750.

Well they aren't in the same ball park, but I was just curious as to how things would be when I go ride with my friend in the next few days. I'm sure his bike is faster, however I think the duc can keep up with him in the corners and braking.....

Take em out and see. The YZF has the power advantage by far. The Duc750 is about on par with the SV650 power wise. Dont worry about keeping up, just ride safe and have fun.

YZF600r should have superior-----

----stopping power & will proably offer a more comfortable riding position. As for outright power & handeling I cannot say.
