suspension upgrade for Ninja 650R

Someone on ADV. Rider put Verseys rear shocks ona 650R, and reported a better ride, but not sure if i'de go there. There are some companies that will sell me repacement front springs and rear shocks for a price. BRP sells Penske 8300 2way rear shocks $775 w/traxxion dynamics spring and emulators$260. Ninja 650Shop sells Elka rear shocks$835 w/Racetech gold valve emulators w/springs$219 both for the 07 650R. any suggestions? This way I might be better to retain the same seat height,vs. a Verseys shock3.5mm taller. I'm 5'9" tall. Please help.

I would go the respring/rebuild route. There are several companies that can do a really good job of it.

Dan
1991 FZR 1000 - built 1040 with race cams, Akrapovic full exhaust, and mild suspension work
2004 YZF R1 - Graves full exhaust, velocity stacks, BMC race filter, and Power Commander. Rear Ohlins. Forks rblt with Race Tech springs and Gold Valves.
2005 20th Anniversary V-Max (0098/2000) - T boost,
2005 YZF R6 track bike - Graves full exhaust, Race Tech suspension
