Question new tire flat!!

My rear tire on my 08 1000rr has gone flat. I just put power pures on a month ago and just barely have 100 miles on them. I inspected the tire and found nothing sticking in it- soap and water-nothing- valve seems ok as well . I put air back in and it seems to be holding. What the.........Any ideas on what caused my tire to loose pressure?

How long did it take to go flat? A slow leak is hard to find sometimes. It could be leaking around the bead if it's not seated properly or if it was damaged when it was installed. Did you check with soap and water there?

no more air has leaked out. Don't really know what happened- a guy at work thinks that my valve stem might be loose and heavy riding caused air to come out- another idea is that the tire relaxed and caused a pressure drop. I will be checking often now

The shop should be able to wire wheel whose rim and try again. If the tire is oxidized to a puncture, you may need to find a new wheel. The patient is a mechanical problem. Good luck to you. Never forget the tire Sears technology, which solved my trailing edge after many others have failed. Further, the wheels, spray Rustoleum and it was the end of my problems.
