suspension and carb issues?

Have a 2001 YZF R1 and a chopper,, but the yamie I lowered in the rear 3''s and raised the fork tubes 2". seems to turn really quick,, wants to drop into the hole in turns. Playing with suspension set ups but a bit lost. Also bought it with a K&N filter on it. Seems as if it needs a jet kit real bad or to return to the stock air filter. When WFO it doesn't doesn't want to run full out,, hesitates and sputters. Runs in town fine. Just don't like to be opened up.

Jetting or air filter recommendations?
Suspension and getting the bikes rake/ angle and all that correct,, I'm open for suggestions.

40 year rider so I can turn a wrench
Thanx Dave

Have the suspension back under control,, put it back to stock, handles good.

As for the carb I've heard the 2000-01 don't like any air mods unless one goes to a 4-1 pipe, jet kit and after market air box. Think I'll try a stock filter.

Suggestions?
Dave

i personally would go back to stock, the bike has alot of power out of the box so it should be enough for what you want.

Switch is a bit of oil or dirt on it. Don `t worry. I had one. And my friend has the same truck as yours. His is a green and black wings. I do not know the price. It was 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel? Whatever its value zero from 6500 and up to 20,000 if it has that amount of miles and a short bed and remember.
