It will be cosly IF(?) you come through with an ideal bike & even when you do decide to sell it, so many will turn it down for many reasons.
So much can fail in these more modern days. Back in the late 40s to the 70s it was easy to do to yes even making proper engine mounting plates to you name it if you had the knowledge, tools & time.
In the cage world they have turned out some amazing cars & learn so much. Might have cost them $40,000.00 but they have something so different though resale value is more like $12,000.00.
I remember popping a Matchless 600cc one lung MX 4-stroke engine into the frame of a Greeves 250cc MX bike. Ground clearance to low for comp or even riding in the bush & was lucky to sell it to a rich American that just had to have this rocket of a bike (even I could not scoot down a block with the bike still under proper control). But at least I dumped it for well below my cost & to me that was money in my pocket.
Also that was back in '57 when paper work was not a nightmare.
