Unhappy 98 gsx-r750 needs engine

Hello everyone. Heres the deal. i have 2 bikes a 98 gsx-r 750 and a 98 gsx-r 600. The 600 threw a rod put a big hole in the motor, it still runs. Im looking to to put in a new motor. I know the 600 and 750 frames are the same for this year, but im looking to put in a 750 motor. Does anyone know if any newer motors will bolt right up? im looking for any info please.

It isn't a direct bolt-in. The top motor mounts are slightly off but can be modified to work - people have done it.

You also need 750 throttle bodies, ECU, and a gauge cluster. Also you will need gearing compatible with a 750 transmission. You might check out either gsxr.com or gixxer.com with specific info.
