Talking Is wearing gear for pussies?

To anyone who answered yes, I have just one thing to say...I just dropped my bike @ 75mph on the freeway about 4 hours ago. My helmet jacket and boots are destroyed, but I walked away with just a little road rash and some soreness. You can call me a pussy if you want, but I'm alive!!!! And that makes it worth it....

WEAR YOUR GEAR DAMNIT!

Pussies are those who DON'T wear gear, 'cause they're too scared that someone will give them sh*t for it.

Actually I would say, yes, gear is for pussies. The whole purpose of gear is to avoid getting hurt so if you don't have the guts to handle the risk of getting hurt then you pussy up and wear gear. Even with that said, I always go ATGATT because the I don't care about how big my balls are over how I'd feel if I went down.

TOUCHE! I don't particularly care about getting hurt, because in all honesty, it didn't hurt that much until it was over. I just wanna stay alive long enough to ride again...

Just had a track day this past weekend and had a minor low-side in the wet. Love the gear! After ~$80 I'll be back on to the fun.

Funny thing happened. There I was, cruisin down the freeway, mindin my own business when out of the blue my front tire blew out on me. It wasn't worn, or in bad shape at all. I had gotten behind a truck, and thought I smelled something weird coming from that truck, after I changed freeways, it still smelled like burning rubber. So I got over to the far lane, and was slowing down to pull off the road....and down I went.

Pussies? No, better to replace a leather suit instead of skin graphs!

ATGATT for me too!

Sorry to hear about the tumble. Should convince the wifey/girlfriend to wait on you.

Did you figure out what caused it? Was the burning smell from something rubbing on it? When was the last time you checked the pressure before that?

I've never had a tire blow out on me on any vehicle, so I'm always interested in knowing how it happens.

Kudos for wearing your gear.
