Customization Forum

I'm trying to Start a new forum dealing with customization of our bikes. People tend to post threads on this subject scattered about in all the other forums. Let me know what you think.

I'm new to the site, but it sounds like a pretty good idea. By the way, my name is john.

Thumbs up

Good idea!

I just finished customizing mine after my crash last January (See My Photo Gallery). Lots of research involved in something like this and everybody does it to some extent. Seems like the subject would generate plenty of discussion.

BTW. Welcom Suzuki69.

looking good tigertex.

I think a customising and modification forum might work well. somewhere to throw ideas around about things that work well and things that dont work at all . It will save a lot of time and hurt wallets trying expensive trick parts only to find it makes your bike handle/look/run like a pig.

Looking Good Tex! Should be about a month before I get my bike done and I start posting pictures. I just ordered my new headlight a few days ago. I'm putting in a 4.5" round headlight in my new sharkskins. I'm hoping it turns out good, but we'll see.

Thanks for the responses!

I've about got enough cash to start working on my ride. I'd like to see this forum. It should be a good place for me to get ideas and places to buy parts from.

I see a couple people voted no. It's understandable that not everyone would agree on something, but I would appreciate some feedback on why you voted against it. Perhaps an aspect I didn't think of?
