Really cool place now that they'er up again.

Some of the Cali sites are pretty crazy too.

I've poked around SBN a few times lately, and I kind of like the site (they've got some cool extras). But as far as the quality of posts, I am not impressed by what I have seen. A lot more immature/childish posters there, and that seriously detracts from a forum in my book.

That was the same conclusion I drew when I first registered over there. I think it was last winter. They keep sending me those "we miss you" auto-emails, too. It's starting to piss me off a bit.

If your saying they seem more squidish as far as sportbike related posts, then I concur.
Other then that, I see no diff between their childish post or ours such as:

"Legalize Midget tossing" by spicer, the mod...

or "Lemme see your wife in her playboy bunny suit" by members that wanna hit on his wife.

All forums are going to have off-topic posts, and that's a good place for people to go and just "shoot the shit" without plugging up the regular posts. I don't think it matters if you are a mod or not, as long as you're sticking to the TOS, by all means post up some stupid stuff, just keep it in the right area.

My main thing is, if I have a question (say one that is one step down from common sense), and I ask it on this forum and SBN, I would expect to get a better answer here, even if it did involve a little ribbing from some of the regulars. On SBN, however, I'd have to wade through 3.5 pages worth of "FAIL" pictures before I got anything resembling an answer.

In short, I don't really care for SBN, but I still troll there, mostly because it is a good source of random pics. Other than that, if I have a question that needs answered or a topic I want to discuss, I'd rather post it here, or even on the Redline forum than to take it there.

Where did I say that? I can't find it. Sounds like me though.

It's nice to know the search function is working properly again though.
