........which reminds me.....

Speaking of salt.....

What's the news on the road salt shortage?

I only read, Macomb Co.
What about Wayne?
Oakland Co is fat n happy?

What happens when we run completely out?
Sand?

Or will we need to drive to work on ice 2 hours earlier eveyday?
That sounds like there might be a serious buttload of accidents if so.

Would our auto insurance cover that?
Or our health or life insurance?

Isn't there....like,....... a big friggin salt mine under Wayne Co.?
Sup w that?

My thought is that the salt producers, banked on the Global Warming myth.

Looks like they were wrong.

Flint using a Sand/Salt Mixture

Genesee County's director says it's not supply that's the problem, but instead the ability for their supplier to get it to them, so conservation is key.

Oakland Co had to borrow a few thousand tons from Wayne Co today. They said that the shipments are on the way, so they will repay Wayne when it all gets here.

They reported the problem is compounded by the fact that the East Coast also uses salt and we are all in the same boat.

Kind of makes you wonder why they do have that stuff shipped in during the summer, so they willl have too much to start with and not have to worry about running out.

Na!!!!!
