'Army' friends vs 'Civilian' friends

Found this on another forum I frequent.....I thought it was pretty funny!

Civilian Friends 'VS' Army Friends...
ARMY FRIENDS ARE THE ****:



CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Tell you not to do something stupid when you're drunk.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will post 360 security so you dont get caught.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.
ARMY FRIENDS: Call your parents Drunk as hell and tell them about the fat chick you tried to pick up.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Bail you out of jail and tell you what you did was wrong.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will be sitting next to you saying, Damn...we ****ed up...but hey, that **** was fun as ****!"


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Cry with you.
ARMY FRIENDS: Laugh at you and tell you to put some Vagasil on your *****.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Borrow your stuff for a few days then give it back.
ARMY FRIENDS: Borrow your stuff, then keep your stuff untill they PCS.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Know a few things about you.
ARMY FRIENDS: Could write a book with direct quotes from you.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that's what the crowd is doing.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowd's ass that left you.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Would knock on your door.
ARMY FRIENDS: Walk right in and say, "I'm home!"


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will take your drink away when they think you've had enough.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will look at you stumbling all over the place and say, "Bitch, you better drink the rest of that ****, you know we don't waste. That's alcohol abuse!!!"


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will say "I can't handle Tequila anymore".
ARMY FRIENDS: Will say "Okay just one more." 2 minutes later "Okay just one more."


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will talk **** to the person who talks **** about you.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will knock them the **** out!!


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will tell you "They'd take a bullet for you."
ARMY FRIENDS: Will actually TAKE a bullet for you.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will roll you on your side when you are passed out puking your guts out and sincerely be concerned for your health and safety.
ARMY FRIENDS: will point at, laugh at, draw on you, pour beer on you and leave you to STEW in your own filth.


CIVILIAN FRIENDS: Will ignore this.
ARMY FRIENDS: Will say HOOAH!.

right here....it was shocking to find out that it got cold in the desert...especially after being used to 130 deg days. it has been a while since I was there tho....about 16 years now....damn I feel old all of a sudden. anyway, best of luck over there...watch your 6 and keep your down and all that stuff

Learned the hard way! been about 4 years, but still remember that the swing from day to night really sucks!

That's the problem, you get up to take a shower and freeze, then sweat in the aftenoon. It's relatively safe here in the TMC I work at. Even the FLA (four litter ambulance) I drive has bolted on up armor doors. However, we're pretty close to the wall and get shots coming in quite often as they are shooting at the towers.
