my son --Aaron-- # 1 for the year!!!

Back in September, Aaron clinched his class ... 50 4-8 trail (with 6 weeks left in the season). Currently, second place is over 100 points behind.
There is one weekend of racing left for the year -- and he is in 9th place in another class. He should get enough points this weekend at Freelin to move up to 8th!!! ... in the 50ss 4-6 class(on his honda -- against mostly Cobras).

I just wanted to brag about him a little --- I wanted to post some pics of him --- but the scanner isn't working right and I am far too old and stupid to get it running.

We have a digital camera .... I can't figure out how to load the film All of the pictures that we have are hard copies .... I am too fat fingered to catch him with the digital.

As for the 65, he has a KTM already. I think that he is doing great with it -- shifting, taking off.....especially for a 7 year old! Ahhh some of the things that I have seen adults do with a clutch!

He is bored with the Honda ... actually hasn't raced it in the trail class for about a month. He rode the main track at Freelin last Sunday for the first time (on the 65). There will be a lot of time spent riding the bike before he is competitive!!

Scott,

It was great to see you guys yesterday...Aaron is improving ridiculously....He is going to be a force when he gets comfortable on that KTM 65! I don't know who was more excited about him riding that bike....him or your wife!! If you need a hand with the winter maintenance on those things, give me a ring, I'll give you a hand!

Watching all those kids makes me want to get a dirt bike now....

thanks again for coming out Justin. Aaron felt like a rock star with 9 people out to see him!

It was fun watching him ride the 65 harder and harder every lap. Maybe he will make the transition rather quickly....and I thought that next year would be mostly a learning year for him.
