Shooting

I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with some of the employees at Double Action. I used to work their (I opened the store with the Alan's and was pivotal in setting it up) And when I break the rules on the shooting ranges I get set upon by the range Nazis. I like shooting a little faster then they like and I like to practice my double taps.

Anyways, they have good lighting and ventilation and I can shoot all my rifles calibers there.

Steven

Yah last year i had a really really shitty expericence there...

but it worked out in the end..

Mike Poole i think is his last name.. Hes a Ferndale police officer and his son is in the Air Force, well he fixed things after he seen one guy bein a total jerk to me and one of my friends that were there.

Mike is a very nice guy and i will not go into that place unless hes there.

He works thursday evenings and sunday all day. He does the CCW classes too..

Well, you have to define what it is you might actually want; caliber, need and so on.

However, here is a very nice 9mm Sig 226.

And here is a very nice 22 cal pistol.

I like DA just because it's fairly close to my office, almost as close as Target Sports, which I try to avoid...my only real problem with DA is that it's like a bar in there with all the employee's smoking...kinda dirty, and not run like a business, more like going over to some guy's basement to shoot...

Same local bar attitude as well. If they dont know you, you might as well not even be in there....Places like that will never get my money again...

Many gun shops/ranges have this attitude.. Thats why I try to take care of my shooting up north at the outdoor sand pit in Hale. I can pop off as many rounds as fast as I like and not have to listen to some dick complaining about it... Not to mention its free.. DNR even stopped by last weekend to check us out and only asked us to make sure we clean up our casings and large pieces of clay pigeons... You cant beat that....

Well, there are a few DNR outdoor ranges a whole lot closer to here than Hale.
Same thing, free and you can break glass or cans or whatever, just be nice and pick up the junk when you are finished.
