1 bike down... and....

2 more to go... LOL

Man I forgot how much time it takes to get a bike ready for winter.. and now I got 3 to do

The F4i: flushed the radiator put in fresh distilled water and antifreeze, oil and filter changed, chain cleaned and lubed, and battery removed....

will do the 929 and the busa later on... since I'm still plannin on riding both yet for another few weeks or so

About all the winterizing I've done is a good cleaning and stabil in the gas. My RF still has a petcock so I turn off the fuel and run the carbs dry and then turn it back on and get the Stabil fuel in there after it runs dry. I try to start it periodically over the winter and let it run while I shovel or something else and since I bought it in August of 99, I haven't had any issues...I don't even battery tender it and 99.99% of the time it starts on its own....I'm only on my second battery!

I too have a heated garage BUT with the gas prices this last while I ain't bother to heat it... not to mention I don't have room anymore for 2 FULL SIZE vehicles and 3 Bikes LOL....

I have one battery tender for my 929 and she'll be stayin in the garage ..

thanks for the reminder on the gas stabilizer .. I'll have to head back down to the storage building to do that tonight ...
