I can confirm those allegations! He went down either Tuesday or Wednesday night. He was going to see a speicalist today about the broken bones and how they are going to handle it. But he will be out at the dragstrip Saturday.

Hey Everybody; Yeah I did it. I was coming home late tues Oct 3rd, got off 94 @ 10 mile like normal headed toward little mack..... then a big blank....I was looking up at paramedics and police trying to knock the cobwebs out. The bike was lying on it's right side in the righthand, northbound lane about 3 doors down from my driveway. I dont remember anything in between. Kinda freaky. I am guessing that my shoulder and head hit the curb considering the severity of the break and the position of the bike. VEGA SUMMIT 1 FLIPFACE HELMET OWNERS BEWARE! (Heidi "Wicked Kitty") My helmet flipped open on impact and I scraped up my face alittle. Vega came out with a "Summit II" model, but I'm not sure if the mechanism was improved upon or not. ANYWAY.....
I've been off work for week or so and I have scheduled surgery for the 20th of Oct. to accomodate a freelance job at cobo hall this week to make ends meet. Luckily, I was able to keep the gig with one arm.....gotta pay the bills. The bike is pretty much scrapped up on the right hand side fairings with no mechanical damage other than a bent footbrake, broken mirror and ground footpegs. I have spare mirrors and brakelevers brand new so thats no biggie. Me and Keith Strong will do the body and paint work this winter. I already took her out for a spin last week up and down little mack and she's fine; she just looks a little ugly right now and will be for the rest of the season; Hopefully I'll get a ride or two in between recovery and the deep-freeze of winter......

ANYWAY here's a couple pics

Stay in touch yall; I am not online much right now, so call me on the cell

PEACE
