Help From Buellers

This may be a contradiction but looking for advice in order to find a good Buell dealer in the metro area.

Have had interest in Firebolt since it hit the market but that Harley engine thing kept me away. Well, time or blurred vision has softened me up a bit so I thought I visit a few dealers.

If I understand correctly most all Buell dealers are Harley dealers and that has never been my crowd. Is there such a thing as good Buell dealer or are Buells just bastard children the Harley dealers have an minimal obligation too.

Thanks,

Steve

If I am not mistaken Harley is a majority owner of Buell. I can't imagine why they would have a separate dealer network just for Buell.

Hello,

I would suggest posting this question over at the BadWeb

The thing you need to remember is that not all HD dealers that carry Buells are Buell friendly. Many dealers would rather hang chrome all day than get your bike in for scheduled service. Also be prepared for having to order parts.

Any time I need to order parts, I order from a dealer in Appleton Wisconsin. He takes pretty good care of us Buellers. He also has great deals set up for those buying bikes. Also, American Sport Bike is another good site for parts and upgrades.

Good luck with your purchase!

There is a dealer locator on Buell's website. Click the link below and on that page click the Find a Dealer link...

http://www.buell.com/en_us/get_yours/

Have not posted this on BadWeb yet but will. Thought I would try local first.

Right on about true Buell enthusiast dealers. Still on my learning curve with Buells; sorting out new or used regarding whether any significant upgrades have occurred since market appearance and for what model years. Current plan is for an XB9R (new or used or maybe even an ex-racebike with the right upgrades).

Does the Appleton dealer have a website?

Thanks, Steve
