Helmet Graphics

Alright, so i picked up my dream helmet, and it was available in plain silver over chrome red, in my size, so I snagged that up real fast! Just wondering, if and where there are services for airbrusing or decal creation for helmet designs. I'd like something simple, clean, and has my last name and some state symbols on it. Any ideas on where to search.

You get castrated if you say yellow pages, or google

There are a couple of vendors at Gibraltar that will create any type of decal you want. Christie had Tigress made and she took me to me to have Misha made for the back of my helmet as well as a rose on the front. They did nice work and will put it on your helmet if you ask. Prices are reasonable as well.

Yeah Gibralter is the place to go. As Misha said decals look pretty good and they are very reasonably priced, however, if you want to get you'r lid airbrushed get ready to fork out some serious dough. I looked around for about 2 months at over a dozen different specialty shops before I got my sled helmet painted and even though Gibralter was the cheapest I still ended up spending around $400 for a pretty simple tear design with "Mach Z" written in it. After you pay for the base coat, color and clear finish you'r looking at $300 easy!

cool guys, thanks for the input.

Misha or tigress, any chance you could throw up a picture of their work?

Any possible pricing on decals, etc?

There is a member of this board (I think it's Inky) who has done awesome airbrush work before. Not sure about location though.

she's in California.... and Ditto on AWESOME WORK!

as for decals.. if you want something that is a solid color I can cut anything you want... but right now the only decal colors I have on hand is metalic silver (used for Lonnie's Hayabusa), black and a solid white... waiting on some chrome to come in for Marc...

Easy enough for me to get just about any color (store 5 mins from my place - they just happen to run out of chrome before I got there lol) but depends on what size you want as to what the price would be.. I'd only charge for the material... problem would be me gettin them to you.. either I can mail them to you or give them to you or someone that may see you next time I'm in the area ...

so if you can get someone local - it'd be faster...

+8 on the Stika Pimp
He reproduced all the decal on my hayabusa with my own color choices and put on the bike.
