Reclaimed land will always be reclaimed by the sea. It's a waste of money. I know its peoples history there, but you just need to learn when to let go. If my house sank, I wouldn't want to rebuild it.

I concur with the two opinions above. Between the Mississippi trying to find it's original path to the sea, and the sea looking for the Mississippi, it will again belong to the water. Stop fighting and give it back now before we spend a fortune to have this happen again in the next 30 years.
