HJC Carbon Fiber Helmet?

Does anyone have one of these yet?

I am NOT a big carbon fiber freak... but I do like the idea of a very light helmet. I have been putting off getting a new helmet for a while. I have an HJC now that I got with my bike in 2000... so, its time.

Honestly, I hate HJC helmets, but I tried that carbon fiber one on (an acquaintence that works at Macomb Powersports made me) and I found it to be quite nice. I can't give a long-term update obviously, but it seemed nice for the price.

I know I'm not big fan of full riding gear, but I firmly believe in getting the best helmet you can - it's worth it in comfort and safety.

Ken, if you are thinking about any higher-end (and priced ) helmets call this place, extreme suzuki in Ohio. Their prices for the 2 Arais I bought last year was almost half off sticker. 800 646-7612 ask for Logan

James you realize you get an additional discount there now due to your redline membership. We just have to get you your membership number and update them with the list and you're golden.

Anyone read that report on helmets that was in Sportrider? (or motorcyclist...can't remember) Where all the plastic cheap helmets ended up getting higher ratings than the other ones?

I sure did.

Part of the reason I am going on fit and looks, and just plain liking the helmet instead of the typical thinking of gotta pay over $400 to get a GOOD helmet.

Plus, HJC has really come on strong with their upper end helmets.

No they still offer Redline Superbike members a discount but they are pretty cheap all around for anybody.
At midohio last year you could have bought a RX7 corsair for $375 from them.
