Granholm Lower Gas Prices Online Petition

Online petition to help lower gas prices. Please sign. You don't have to leave your full address.

http://www.michigan.gov/gov/0,1607,7...1415--,00.html

It was on channel seven news web site.

http://wxyztv.com/wxyz/nw_local_news...640598,00.html

This is amazing,
"Granholm noted that oil prices have increased 240 percent since President Bush’s inauguration in January 2001"

Maybe he can go for the 300% by mid summer.
I am not saying its his fault. Because I'm not educated enough in the gas department. But that is one big jump since he took office.

Screw this bitch.... It's an election ploy... Let her head roll...
I'm a Dem BUT, she's worthless... Wanna lower the price, cap or release the state and road tax.. Thats over 50% of the cost...
Big deal, it drops 25 cents and what sits at $2.75?... Oh thats a bargain...
It will get better when she packs her shit and Bush gets impeached

The political world shouldnt need a petition to realize gas prices are far higher than what they should be...

They can all kiss my ass for not doing anything about it already...

But what can they do?? This type of thing is what our country is founded on and we keep paying the prices...

I don't remember the excact price but she said she would remove the gas tax if it got more than a certain amount but she never did.

She has been rotten for Michigan period.

She has cut State jobs, cut funding for MSF classes, increase the price to get your plates, given you a fine if you don't do it on time even if its a car or bike you don't ride right now. It still only cost like 20 cents per ton to dump trash in Michigan, while most other states near by are well over $7.00.

Tell me one thing she has done good for you or I, please I'd really like to hear just one.

The state fuel tax is 19 cents a gallon and, thus, represents a fixed income to those entities. In fact, if you have purchased a new car in the last few years that gets better gas mileage than your previous one, odds are you’re driving as much or more than before, but actually paying less in fuel tax to maintain the roads

You think the roads suck now take away that tax and see how bad they get.

The tax is like 78 cents per gallon some of it is federal but still.

Oh and for the record we have some of the lowest gas prices in the world.

I was in Germany not to long ago and it was almost $2.00 per liter at 3.86 liters per gallon, do the math over $8.00 per gallon after the dollar to euro conversion.

Diesel was slightly cheaper, most cars over there use diesel.

Our gas price's are pretty cheap its just the fact that our SUV's are the size of our houses that is the problem.

Oh and when was the last time you walked to the corner store for milk. People walk and ride bikes all over in Germany even in the winter.

Its truely our own glutten thats killing us.
