2002 Gsxr 600- is 9xxx miles a lot?

Is 9k a lot of miles for a 2002?

depends on how bad it was beat/dropped/crashed.

I would say it is just getting broken in.

But if it has the same oil in it that it came with. Yeah, 9000 might be a bit to much. LOL

I don't think it's alot considering I've got a 2001 with 32,000 on it.

No, that is not much at all. It really does depend on the previous owner though. I've seen 10,000 mile bikes that looked ready to be sent to the boneyard and 10,000 mile bikes that still looked fit for the showroom floor.
