In the first pic, I think I see a hand.... thought they covered those things up.

Yeah I actually saved it on my desktop then zoomed in. You can definitely see an arm.

Looks like a suicide to me. No skidmarks, looks like the trailer was parked when the vette slammed into it, if you notice all the car parts are in one spot, but i could be wrong. Judging by the yellow tarp in the second pic, they were getting all the parts of the guy in one spot.

A guy who was involved in multiple high speed persuits told me his favorite thing would be to drive on the shoulder, since it was the only place clear enough to maintain tripple digit speeds. Perhaps the same was happening here (not the persuit, just driving fast on the shoulder)

One trip from Norfolk, VA to home, I did that twice (Mustang convertible with 5 people, uncomfortable trip!) Each time there was a car parked on the shoulder and I had an "OH SHIT" moment!

Never again will I do that at speed!
