Local Soldier Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Motorcyclist Hits Pickup Truck At Intersection

RADCLIFF, Ky. -- A local soldier stationed at Fort Knox died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

Capt. Marvin L. Harrington, 38, struck the pickup truck near the intersection of Ky. 313 and U.S. 31W just before 6 a.m. Wednesday, Radcliff police said.

Harrington, of Mount Clemens, Mich., was a marketing officer at the Eastern Region ROTC Headquarters at Fort Knox.

Steve Arel, Eastern Region ROTC spokesman, said Harrington had been at Fort Knox for about one month.
