New saddles for Ducati?

Met up with this guy on the road out west of Ann Arbor today. Very interesting guy. Could this be the future saddles for Ducati. These are 1940's vintage that he adapted to the bike. He and his pillion love them. He also is riding, yes riding a 1911 harley.
Doc, you gonna get one?
