Angry I Have No Bike!

While I was away for the weekend, I had someone take care of my house. Without my permission, this person who shall reamain nameless, took my bike out without my permission and looped it. There is lots of damage to speak of. It is mostly cosmetic. We shall see how quickly I can get the parts in. I am taking it to the dealer today, but this is what I need as far as I can tell: New Gas tank, windscreen, pair of mirrors, blinkers front and rear, right side upper fairing, right side lower fairing, right side front fairing, undertail, left and right side rear fairing, grab rail, rear light, the steering is tweaked, a puncture in my carbon fiber exhaust, and some other stuff. I think mechanically the bike is ok, but the mechanic will confirm that soon.

I don't think I have ever told a more horrible story.

Tar and feathering is way too good for'em. Make'em pay you what the bike is worth pre-crash and they can fix it and sell it. You take the cash and get an uncrashed bike so you don't have to worry about something cropping up later from the crash that might get missed in the short term.

What an idiot. I'd call the cops and have them charge him with theft too if the cops would do it.

Sorry

it probably would have been better if it was just gone that way you would not have to look at it.

Fock that, that's called Grand Theft Motorcycle. After you have the person arrested call a Lawyer. WTF is wrong with people. If someone "borrowed" my bike w/o permission They'd be sitting in Jail.

well im sure if they were taking care of his house, they are probably good friends of his. which sucks, because what do you do? if i had a good friend of mine taking care of my house, and they smashed up my bike,... all you can really do is get money from them to fix it and shake your head in disgust.

that suuuucks. what were they thinking?????
