an alternate route that is just as good as the dragon is rt. 28.. You can pick it up at the resort and follow it all the way to (franklin, franklinville). I rode it also last year and had a better time than I did on the dragon.

I wouldn't change any plans over it. They are still sporadically patrolling heavy, but there are tons of good roads out there, and you really don't have to kill the road to enjoy it.

We have a convention scheduled the week of June 19th. If you are there the same time, drop me a line.

I went down there (or over there i guess) this sunday i saw 2 cops that was it one accident but there wasnt anyone flying by me or nothing. There are roads all around the park way and such over here in hendersonville there is a couple great roads on the north carolina boarder going into south carolina down by ceasers head and such. It was cool seeing all the bikes there though i got there and there was a bunch at the little gas station thing and then i went the 11 miles and there are a whole lot more bike across the tenn. boarder, not to mention all the photographers.
