GA-TN-NC-SC Mountain Roads

SC, GA, NC 28 & Warwomen Rd: What a stretch of road. One of my favorites. Starting just north of Walhalla SC and ending up at Deal's Gap. My favorite section is 28 north of Franklin. Warwomen road just at the GA/SC state line on 28 is awsome on its own.

News: SC portion is brand new perfect pavement!

SC/NC178: Heading north of Hwy 11 near Pickens SC, 14 miles of intense switch backs, elevation changes, decreasing radius drop away down hill turns (I call Mini Laguna Seca turns) and wide open sweeper stuff. 100% perfect pavement, race rubber loves it!

GA 60 North & South of Suches GA (home of TWO). 25 mile stretch north to Morgantown ic my favorite. Run north, then back south for a 50 mile sprint! GA 180 from Suches to 129 has a 7 mile stretch that is tighter than Deal's Gap.

TN 68 from Duck Town to Tellico Plains. Some of the best high speed sweepers I have ever known.

Cherohala Skyway: WOW!!!!!

Day trip from Suches up 60/68, over the Cherohala to Deal's Gap!

Haven't done 28 or the Ga. Tn. roads yet. Wholehearted agreement re 178. My first time Rosman to Pickens, one of those decreasing radius fall away turns about did me in. Actually, I was bonafide newbie at the time and had no business being on that stretch of road. Since then, with some experience it has been big grin fun.
